So, I was alerted to Crystal (https://www.crystalknows.com/) by a coworker. I'm always interested in where machine learning is headed. I'll admit, I was a little skeptical at first and the app kind of makes me sound like a jerk, but the more I read it, the more I think it's pretty accurate.
The value that Crystal promises is insight into an individual's communication style based on analysis of publicly available content attributed to that person. To create a Crystal profile, you're prompted to enter some information about a person to help isolate content, then when you click, it grabs content and parses it to create a profile of that person. The first option it presents is to do a vanity profile to validate it's accuracy. This is fun just to get a feel for how your content plays.
I can see the CRM value in understanding how to create more effective messages on a personal level, but I also see how it can help coach you into crafting a more effective public persona.
Here's what it returned for me:
Enjoy creating one for yourself.
